HuddyJ My absolute AotY in 2015. This thing did not come off of repeat for a solid two months after its discovery. These guys blend so many things I love together. There's twinkly, complex musicianship; there's personal, affecting and passionate lyrics, and best of all, it feels like these guys really have fun playing together. Music that makes me wish I was in a band like this, or that I could even play an instrument. Music that, as always, I'm truly thankful for making me feel truly emotional. Favorite track: Automobile Wink.

Somewhere else I'm somewhere else With you Take me as I am I'm all edges So I can open you up Or cut right through you Open up

Ode to Spot 04:03
Pause for effect Oh those memories you reject Those growing pains that dull refrain Will have you in stiches when your eyes Expose your disposition For what you really are I thought You'd be Worth it To me Well does it matter Your reflection Will the mirror smile back at you Like I do Nine lives short of today When you're gone Oh I'm feeling more I'm feeling more than I want to Than I want to I thought You'd be Worth it To me

Tires tread Up a broken street White all around Half a foot deep Sevens and nines Make up the sound Animal faces Primally bound The leaves turn over and my ambition is dry The colors change into faces closer to mine The leaves turn over and my ambition is dry The colors change into faces closer Six by two The bridges we crossed The pictures we painted Burned by exhaust Primaveral wind Reddens a face Rotten through winter Only now in place The leaves turn over and my ambition is dry The colors change into faces closer to mine The leaves turn over and my ambition is dry The colors change into faces closer

I've been playing with you I've enjoyed the rush We're just paper cutouts In and out of love You make me feel brighter Hiding in your warmth Here in my arms There in the present Just within reach Just out of balance Somehow, someway Everything falls into place Wandering wondering We'll all pass away some day Cause Darling it's the weekend Darling it's the weekend

I'm getting out (uh oh) (no) I started tracing all my steps Back to when we met Where do I begin When do we expend How could I forget The air is thick with your perfume The ice so thin under our shoes I thought I'd lose all that I knew Before I left this place confused (no) I can't take it back Everything I said Everything I did Just consequence in the end (uh oh) I can't take it back (uh oh) Everything I said (uh oh) Everything I did Just consequence Lost is a concept I understand (all to well) Inside this shell I'm alone On an island of love and loss I've grown On the upside I've never shown Buried and marked in stone (no) I can't take it back Everything I said Everything I did Just consequence in the end (uh oh) I can't take it back (uh oh) Everything I said (uh oh) Everything I did Just consequence So Shall We move Shall we change Shall we choose To take shape So Shall we?

I'm walking through you Literal function I'm walking through you Literal function don't mean a thing And I fade into the foreground But I'll just keep Running back to you again You'll just keep Staring a hole right through me I've just been So transparent lately You're just another plastic dream To me I'm ethereal You're imagining things I live in your head You might be insane I'm walking through you Literal function I'm ethereal Fading blue And I fade into the foreground I never rest But I'll just keep Running back to you again You'll just keep Staring a hole right through me I've just been So transparent lately You're just another plastic dream To me I'm ethereal Devisible by your ego

Wait Did you stop and notice Between mere days The grass turned a shade Clouds circle around us Don't you feel alone In the best way Life In this waking dream So delicate it seems Feeling lost in composure And tossed in the breeze Don't you feel alone In the best way

about

Colours take shape in the foreground
Echo forms of your former self
Deep in elation of all
You don't know
Shall we choose to change in these moments?

The stars blink back
Smell life on this night

Get lost in the ocean
Above our heads
